Our current focus has been in India since we were invited to set up a computer training centre in a slum school in 2006. This led to an invitation by none other than the Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, to provide consultancy to set up ten similar centres in North West India! We have been assured at very senior levels that we will be able to have our training courses accredited by an Indian University in the longer term, a further reason for accepting the invitation to provide consultancy.
More recently, we have set up a training centre with a Burmese refugee community in India because we felt deeply moved by their need for empowerment through vocational education.
Prior to India, we set up a computer training system in a Bible college in Thailand in 2006. In 2005 we raised funds for a computer training centre in Bolivia, a heart-touching initiative giving life-changing education to street children.
